Compassion, Friendship, Solace... These are important things that families need when their child is facing a serious illness or life threatening injury.
The Spiritual Care Guild raises the funds to provide interfaith spiritual care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the 300,000 families that come to Children's Hospital Los Angeles each year. While the doctors and nurses work on healing the physical bodies of the children, the Spiritual Care Chaplains comfort minds, warm hearts and nourish souls of the patients, their families and the health care professionals in times of fear and uncertainty.
