One Spirit. One Soul. One Child at a Time.
Compassion, friendship and solace are some of the most important things families need when their child is facing a serious illness, disease or life-threatening injury. The Spiritual Care Guild was established in 2003 to raise funds to provide interfaith spiritual care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the over 350,000 families that come to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles each year. While the doctors and nurses heal the physical bodies of the children in the hospital, the chaplains and staff of the Spiritual Care Department comfort the minds, warm hearts, and nourish souls of the patients, their families and the health care professionals in times of fear and uncertainty.
